HALTON FRESH FOOD BOX

The Halton Fresh Food Box is a non-profit fresh produce buying service operated by and for our community.

How does it work?

1. If you are ordering for the first time you must call the Halton Fresh Food Box office (905-634-8645) at the beginning of the month to place your order. 

2. Starting March 2010, existing customers will have to pre-order and pay for the following month's box at the time of pick up.

3. Once your order has been placed you simply pick up your box at your neighbourhood site once a month. Khi Community is one of the drop-off sites here in Milton.  Fresh Food Boxes are dropped off at Khi Community every 3rd Tuesday of the month.

How much does it cost?

The cost of each box is:

$17.00 - regular box

$13.00 - small box

If you are a family with children and receive financial assistance from Ontario Works you might also qualify for assistance in receiving a fresh food box.  Contact your Ontario Works case worker for more details.
